Matt, along with his partner Chelsea, recently made the vibrant Southport/Oak Island area their home, captivated by its charming coastal allure. Their journey took a new turn in June 2023 with the arrival of their son, Remington (fondly known as Remi), whose childhood adventures are bound to be enriched by the area’s natural beauty.
With a lifelong passion for craftsmanship, Matt’s affinity for working with his hands blossomed during his early days, when he and his brother crafted skim boards and rode the coastal waves. This passion evolved into a career journey, leading him to apprentice under a master carpenter, where he honed his skills and mastered precision.
In October 2021, Matt ventured into entrepreneurship, founding Mad Maintenance, LLC. Renowned for his meticulous attention to detail, he has garnered a reputation for tackling projects that stumped others. With an unwavering commitment to quality and reliability, Matt approaches each task with finesse and expertise.
